Flavor. History. Impact. An Insider’s Tour of New Albany

Join the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana for an afternoon of discovery as we explore the people, places, and organizations that help make New Albany such a special place to call home. We’ll hop aboard a private coach for behind-the-scenes visits with three local nonprofits, uncover stories from some of New Albany’s oldest and most fascinating landmarks, and learn more about the people and purpose behind the work happening throughout our community.

And, of course, we’ll indulge a little along the way, enjoying a tasty sampling from a trio of local restaurants before wrapping up at The Wine Shop, where we’ll raise a glass to the future of New Albany and Southern Indiana.

This invite-only experience is complimentary, but space is limited. You’re invited to bring a guest and join us for an afternoon of community impact, good food, and great company.

Event Itinerary:

9:30 a.m. – Guests begin arriving at CFSI headquarters (4108 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN 47150)

9:55 a.m. – Begin loading tour bus / last call for riders

10:00 a.m. – Depart CFSI headquarters

10:15 a.m. – Arrive at Town Clock Church for tour with Mr. Jerry Finn (300 E Main St., New Albany, IN 47150)

11:00 a.m. – Appetizers from Board & You Bistro & Wine Bar

11:15 a.m. – Arrive at Carnegie Center for Art & History for tour with Ms. Laura Wilkins (201 E Spring St., New Albany, IN 47150)

12:00 p.m. – Small plates from The Exchange New Albany

12:15 p.m. – Arrive at Culbertson Mansion State Historic Site for tour with Ms. Devin Payne & Mr. Charles Lockman (914 E Main St., New Albany, IN 47150)

1:00 p.m. – Desserts from The Whimsical Cookie

1:15 p.m. – Arrive at The Wine Shop for glass of wine and toast to future (410 Pearl St., New Albany, IN 47150)

2:15 p.m. – Depart The Wine Shop

2:30 p.m. – Arrive back at CFSI headquarters

A Note About the Schedule: We’ve planned our day carefully and included approximate times to help you know what to expect along the way. While we’ll do our best to stay on schedule, timing may shift slightly as we move from stop to stop. We appreciate your flexibility and hope you’ll enjoy the experience at a relaxed pace with us!
