How to Help Storm Victims in Southern Indiana

On Tuesday, April 2, storms (and potential tornadoes) rolled through several Southern Indiana neighborhoods, injuring 10 people and causing thousands of dollars of damage to homes and property. High winds caused structural damage and toppled semi-trucks along I-265 just west of the East End Bridge. Several houses suffered substantial roof damage, rendering their homes inhabitable.

With such devastation happening in our backyard, the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana is re-activating its Disaster Relief Fund for local community members that are eager to help with the recovery efforts.

If you are interested in supporting the relief efforts, please follow these easy steps:

  1. Visit the Give Today section of our website: https://www.cfsouthernindiana.com/giving-planning/give-today/
  2. Fill out your Personal Info
  3. Under Fund Info, click ‘Select by Name’
  4. Under Name of Fund, type ‘disaster’
  5. Click on ‘Community Foundation of Southern Indiana Disaster Relief Fund’

100% of your gifts will be used to address local community needs related to the recent storms.
