Educating Our Future – Enriching Our Culture

The Children’s Fine Art Classes (CFAC) offered by the Louisville Visual Art Association (LVAA) support the creative needs of students in our community and enrich our culture. In 2014, the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana supported LVAA’s six Indiana classes which offer art classes to talented students identified by the school systems.

“CFAC is such a wonderful program that helps the youth of various communities. The classes provide the extra art outlet that most students would not receive in the traditional education system. CFAC has helped my community by enriching children with complex art lessons. When students complete lessons that are advanced or difficult this gives them a sense of accomplishment.” – Michelle Hunt, CFAC teacher at Highland Hills Middle School.
