Lilly Endowment Community Scholars 2008
Each student received full tuition for all four years at an accredited Indiana institution plus an additional $800 for books. Lilly Endowment Inc., through Independent Colleges of Indiana, provides funding for two students in each county served by CFSI: Clark, Floyd and Harrison. Students may attend any public or private accredited college or university in Indiana.

American Legion Scholarship
$2,000 each year for two years to two Floyd County students (a total of $4,000 for each recipient) given by Bonnie Sloan Post #28 in New Albany. Preference is given to students seeking a technology or associates degree.

Blue Sky Scholarship
This is a one time award of either $2,500 or $5,000 to a student of either Clark or Floyd County. The applicant may attend any accredited two or four-year college or university in the continental United States. The scholarship celebrates that which is unique in one or more high school graduates.

Walt and Hazel Bales Business Scholarships

This fund hopes to award two $1,000 scholarships: one for a student majoring in the field of business and one to a student majoring in automotive technology. Awards are made based upon the pool of qualified applicants.

Hugh and Maybelle Scott Memorial Music Scholarship
$1,000 for one year in college for a student from Clark, Floyd, or Harrison County who will pursue a degree and has demonstrated a career in music.

Raymond Rhodes Memorial Scholarship
This award offers a scholarship of up to $2,000 for a student who will attend a full-time, post-secondary education pursuing a career in the field of printing technology or graphic arts. Strong preference is given to those pursuing a career in printing technology (press, prepress, or bindery operations). Awards are based upon the pool of qualified applicants.

This award offers a scholarship of up to $500, for a student who will attend Purdue University with preference given to those students majoring in the field of Family and Consumer Science.
