Hello friend,
I’m Dale Orem, the founding executive director of the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana. When we established the Foundation in 1991, we wanted to make it easier for people to be generous. Think of the Community Foundation as a treasure chest. We hold that gift and only use the earnings. The gift you make today can keep on giving for decades to come. Our other goals for the Community Foundation were to build a non-profit organization that could take the lead in important community issues, and a place for non-profits to come for expert support and help. We’ve certainly made significant strides meeting these goals. We would love to hear from you on how we can help you make your charitable dreams come true. What organization would you love to help? What community need goes unmet? What outstanding community volunteer would you like to honor? Tell us. The Community Foundation’s excellent and experienced staff would love to hear from you. Go to our staff pages to contact a staff member, and tell us how we can help you meet your charitable dreams.
Sincerely,
Dale Orem
Founding Executive Director
